Monday has the unlucky distinction of being the first work day of the week, Tuesday gets tacos, Wednesday gets wings and the back bump of a camel, and Friday gets a Rebecca Black song. But Thursday gets... what exactly? And don't tell me "Throwback Thursday" is on the same level as those other things. The only reason we do it is because we have to escape the present horrors of the work week by reminiscing about the past. Nope, once you graduate college and actually have responsibilities on Fridays, Thursday becomes the second worst day of the week. 

Thursday used to be my main party day, going out from one bar to another, knowing that I didn't have class the next day. Heck, even if I did, it was one class at 12:15 I couldn't care less about. Now, every time I feel like reliving the old days with a Thursday night out, Friday morning hits me in the face like a semi-truck skidding on black ice. 

Still, there's a whole meme culture behind Thursday, (mostly as a counterculture to the incessant "It's Wednesday my dudes" Wednesday memes), and those people get super excited every time the calendar rolls around to Friday LiteTM.
